I have a year for my Master's, but longer for the PhD. I'm gonna wait for that, though, because of loans. How about you?

I completely understand. Can you get funding for the PhD? Hopefully, I'll submit my PhD thesis by February, though I'm in the middle of an international move, which will probably delay submission.

Honestly, I haven't looked into it. I was initially going to take a break after the bacehlor's and get a job, but all suirtable places around here wanted Master's degrees so I continued. Ultimately, I have to have a PhD for the career I want.

That's a lot of big stuff going on at once! If it gets delayed, that's fine. Moving is a challenge in itself, an International move is even more challenging and bigger. If you don't mind me asking, what's your thesis on?

I like to hear about what people are doing their theses on becuase they're so fascinating to me. But I understand if you don't want to share or talk about it. And good luck on the move and your thesis!

4. My thesis specifically examines legal approaches to children's right to physical and mental integrity in international human rights law and Australian law in the context of intersex genital modifications. My grad work in the UK focused on male genital cutting.

That's a big move!! I'm happy to hear it is leading you to something you are passionate about that is also important. More people need education on children and their rights as well as bodily autonomy. I think it's so great that this is the focus of your work.

I have talked to some people on twitter about some of it, and there are many who are not well receiving on the information. I'm glad that the children will have someone like you on their side.

Thank you so much! We can never be silent on these issues. We have to constantly talk about them esp male circumcision to raise people's consciousness. All children deserve equal protection from unnecessary bodily alterations without their consent.
