I have a year for my Master's, but longer for the PhD. I'm gonna wait for that, though, because of loans. How about you?

I completely understand. Can you get funding for the PhD? Hopefully, I'll submit my PhD thesis by February, though I'm in the middle of an international move, which will probably delay submission.

Honestly, I haven't looked into it. I was initially going to take a break after the bacehlor's and get a job, but all suirtable places around here wanted Master's degrees so I continued. Ultimately, I have to have a PhD for the career I want.

That's a lot of big stuff going on at once! If it gets delayed, that's fine. Moving is a challenge in itself, an International move is even more challenging and bigger. If you don't mind me asking, what's your thesis on?

I like to hear about what people are doing their theses on becuase they're so fascinating to me. But I understand if you don't want to share or talk about it. And good luck on the move and your thesis!

1. I don't mind! My PhD is in international human rights law. My area of expertise is children's right to physical and mental integrity in the context of medically unnecessary, non-consensual genital surgeries, including male and female circumcision and intersex genital surgeries
