    I get sad every time I come on Twitter and see “Writer’s lift” all over my feed or “reply with an emoji that describes your mood.” This is all middle-grade stuff, can’t we have an intelligent conversation? Geez 😒 What’s your favorite painting and why? Favorite novel, why?
