This has happened to the org I work with multiple times and It's so frustrating. If you call them out, people think you're shrill and difficult...until it happens to them
ok, the third major case of someone stealing my work without credit has just happened. each time they are just shy of illegal actions or violating formal plagiarism rules, but i think that ethically they are all guilty. anyone have exp with this how to deal with this?

I had my teenage years appropriated by a woman who ripped off huge segments of my life & claimed they happened to her to get a movie deal & gigs. Police couldn't do anything bec it's not identity theft if she still uses HER name (but steals my life). Sue them or send a C&D letter
