I still don't understand why a libertarian tech billionaire doesn't just buy up Colma - already has BART station - rezone all (non cemetery) land to limitless residential density and watch all the NIMBYs in neighboring cities kick rocks. Only 1,302 population

For the record, Colma is 73% cemeteries. Only about 1/2 a square mile of non cemetery land.

Also ots of land that's currently big box retail that will go extinct as e-commerce becomes even more dominant. That land could and should be re-zoned to residential. Can still fit tens of thousands of people there with no height limits or density controls :)
