Thanks from the Tenderloin. This notion of "nice neighborhoods" is total racist redlining BS. It robs those who live in D6 of our humanity. WE ALL deserve to live in a clean and safe community. WE ALL pay taxes and should receive the same level of services.

@MattHaneySF doesn’t care about your safety. He cares about building clout for his next election. Resume building only.2 replies 3 retweets 29 likes -
I live in the Tenderloin. I walk Hyde St and block by block and work on the safety of residents here everyday. "Safe World Capital", you're welcome to come down here and walk with me anytime. Send me a message.

Are we living in the same neighborhood??? What “Safe” neighborhood are you talking about??? Dozens of drug dealers and junkies are now under my window, arguing and fighting all night… waiting to hear gun shots any moment… I’m so confused what safety are you on about???…

I live here and ran for office because everything is NOT ok. There are massive devastating problems, that have been here for a long time, that deserve and need all of our focus, attention, resources. But it would be gaslighting to say they could easily be fixed overnight.

Laughable. You’re the ultimate gaslighter! 20 mph limits when strung out drug addicts are running innocent pedestrians over. No right turns on red but addicts are passed out in the street from fentanyl. Overpriced loos no one uses yet our alley is a toilet & unsafe injection site

The police do not work for me, i cant decide what they do or how they're deployed, I do not determine who is arrested or how they are prosecuted. Drug laws and most criminal laws are state laws.

@MattHaneySF you could publicly call on@chesaboudin to prosecute drug dealers & put them in jail to protect your constituents. We should get addicts all the help they need, but we should have zero tolerance for fentanyl street dealing. Both sides of the equation are needed.2 replies 0 retweets 14 likes
You could write a resolution at Board of Supes calling for higher criminal penalties for fentanyl dealing at state level. Given fentanyl's increased risk of death, higher penalties are necessary. If CA has same dealing laws, why does SF have CA's largest open air drug mkt?

Fentanyl is our societies most widely used surgical anesthetic, widely recognized as unusually non Toxic, it is utilized in every emergency room, dentists office, icu, and ambulance. It cannot be further criminalized without crippling our medical establishment.pic.twitter.com/jFnzvoP7oe
