    This is how hard people had to work to get "justice" through this system. The verdict is a relief, but justice would be Black people existing without fear.

    People in media hate admitting it, but they are not simply mirrors, documenting events. They make choices; they decide what's worth our attention, what *matters*. They have decided that "wokeism" matters more than the still-ubiquitous baseline racism & sexism in the US.

    I cannot help but recall that when was killed by police, he legally possessed his weapon. We did not hear *anything* about "the 2nd Amendment being alive and well." That should tell you all you need to know about what this was about.
