The other rifle was with the shooter. On May 18, the suspect bought 375 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, according to the briefing. ATF paperwork shows he likely lived with his grandmother, where she was shot. Authorities say he was wearing a plate carrier with no ballistic armor.(2/3)

The information about a pursuit is not accurate, according to the briefing. The grandmother apparently worked at the school but ended in 2020. The suspect's grandmother is still alive. (3/3)

In Texas, you need a license to drive right? And you need to learn how to drive, right?
In Texas, you can’t buy a beer until you’re 21 right?
Why don’t the same rules apply to buying a deadly weapon?

Because driving and car and drinking beer are not unalienable Rights…thinking of them and speaking on them as the same won’t get us anywhere.

If a sale of a firearm leads to a shooting event, especially a mass shooting, the retailer should be forced to suspend all firearm sales for a period of 6 months or more. Maybe then they’ll start to care more and pay more attention to who is purchasing guns.

In 1999 I turned 18 and went to the gun range next to LAX airport. After a 3 handgun shots I went outside to smoke a cigarette. Friend came out to ask me what was wrong. Shaking I said, “The thought that some crazy person could have this much harming power in their hands.”1/2
