Even NYT admits towards end of the article that Israel initiated the exchange of fire: "The barrage came after an apparent Israeli missile strike against a village in the Syrian Golan Heights late Wednesday." So why isn't this the lead or headline???

because it doesn't matter.. the very existence of Iran militias and so called experts in Syria is an aggressive pretext for Israel to retaliate regardless of your kindergarten sort argument about who hit first and who hit last..

What is Iran doing in Syria? Why are they there and why are they involved, despite all the problems back in Iran, the exchange rate, poverty, etc. Better to focus on ppl at home - if they are there, also fair play for others to be there and fight.

Wow, you mean the NYT actually admitted that Israel started something? Well, one might suppose that when enough readers know how good the NYT is at covering for Israel, it might be wise to sometimes, print a word of truth about who the real instigator of problems in the area is.

C'mon, you know why? The non-English speaking Korean Americans release is more important. Besides, why cover Israel's occupying and bombing of a sovereign country's land and citizens?
