I like that nobody cried because you can play as Sparta or Athen in the grand campaign during a period when they aren't even relevent or you can conquer the world with the Icenis but no it's women who are the problem
-
-
-
no but you see a video game can be historically *authentic* without completely shattering the illusion when you introduce something like this in Rome 2 where women [trips and fall] ah fuck [picks up scattered notes] where women can... have prosthetics and fight in the US army
-
but Rome, greeks and eastern factions can't have female generals, only Egypt, Kush and barbarians factions can have them with a a wich for all of them exept Egypt is historically accurate and if I can play the Imperator Augustus Campaign with Cleopatra as a general I say fuck yes
-
and again I don't care it's a video game it must be fun and you can do anything you want with it, and there is mod to change that so complaining about that is stupid
-
Modding should be to add things that might not be accurate but is cool, not to fix the inaccuracies that the developers put in. you shouldn't have to mod the game to get an authentic experience, you should have to mod the game not to get one.
-
Mod is to do whatever you want

Although I spent more than 1400 hours on your games, non of your games attract me anymore. I played Paradox games and I don’t think I can ever get back to your games. You are destroying Total War!
-
It's not like you might get tired of a game after nearly 2 solid months of playtime, no, this is definitely the fault of women existing. Keep crying.
-
Your immediate conclusion as to why he doesn’t like Total War games is because of women? There’s a term for that. It’s called sexism. People have been upset with Total War long before this debacle going on now. But no, YOU can only see race and gender. Get over yourself.
-
Ah, the classic "pointing out sexism is the REAL sexism" response. Taken in context, ie in a thread calling out sexist backlash, they offered no other reason for their response but the inclusion of women. But go on.
-
Were people upset when Rome 2 was released as a broken and unfinished game sexist? Are people upset over the whole deal with poor quality DLC sexist? I don’t have a problem with DLC but a lot of the community is. Who’s to say that why he quit? No one knows cause he didn’t say
-
Reading my previous message will yield answers to your questions. Based on the context of the thread and their message, I stand by my assessment.
-
We can't deny the convenience of labeling your community sexist - that way you don't have to admit a series of wrongoings on your own part, which can be traced back to locking of a heated yet quite civil (and VERY informative) thread with a Soderlund style either-or ultimatum.
-
Careful you don't pull something with that epic reach. Let me guess, you ascribe to the idiom "the customer is always right?"

Can you add a negative trait to some male generals that makes them take a massive morale hit when they see a woman? I feel like that's relevant

This in no way even attempts to respond to the actual problem, shutting down conversation and asking customers to not play the games they payed money for, i take this then as an endorsment by omission of Ella's viewspic.twitter.com/8QLMsJrK8h
-
she said you could mod them out if you wanted. i would say you can't read but i realize that many gamers are actually driven to rage-filled blindness when they see a woman with authority, so you only got as far as "CA Ella" before your brain started to melt and you lost your mind
-
So if a company decided to remove females from a game would you accept an: "you can mod them back in"?
-
Rome 2 has always had women as generals, and has also always been historically inaccurate. Why are you so upset NOW, as opposed to at any time before? Why aren't you bitching about Sparta being a world power? THAT is inaccurate.
-
i dont care really. what i dont like is hypocrisy so why write so much if you could have said yes or no?
-
Bet ur one of those who thinks whites only societies r equivalent to black societies
-
bet ure one of those who cant answer a simple question
-
I was never asked a question lol. But if u think there's should be a official white history month bc there's a black one well, there's the ideological difference
