    Scenario: this hack is deployed against 10 cars, then a ransom note is posted for bitcoins. 1000 BTC or they all go.

    Even odds on a real instance of malicious, remote vehicle hacking in the next 24 months. I'd bet on it, but I doubt we'll find out.
