PSA for grad students/postdocs on fellowship: you can now contribute to an IRA with your stipend! This had not been the case for some time. Sen. Warren et al. have been sponsoring the GSSA since 2016 and it has passed as part of the recent omnibus spending bill.

. engineering that EET conduit to be even better: Modifying cytochrome c maturation can increase bioelectronic performance of engineered Escherichia coli. Don't you love it when people pay attention to ? Turns out, it's important!

Our first lab pre-print is up! We can ‘herd' living cells like flocks of sheep using bioelectricity. Excited to finally share this, and special shout-outs to and Gawoon Shim.

This is the coolest thing from - programming cells to move in real time. Just manipulate the membrane electropotential, easy right?😍
