Capital also seems, I may misunderstand this, to defy human intentions. And yet, if Corbyn implemented Venezuelan-style socialism in Britain I don’t think capital would autonomously overcome it, aside from simply fleeing.

People who write about “capital” seem to turn it into God. “Capital does this...” “Capital will overcome...” “Capital is doing this to us...” “What does capital intend?” It sounds anthropomorphic and a lot like God to me, rather than an economic process.
