“Game theory” has become a meme. Talking to someone in the pub, & he tried to convince me he was right by appealing to “game theory” which he proceeded to describe as “being selfish”. He knows GT is high status & intellectual & thought that by using the “magic words” I’d agree.

1. Yes. But people understand what they’re doing. It’s just they don’t care about the truth as opposed to status. He also recited a poem at me and when I said, “Who wrote that?” He said, “I did.” Obvious lie.

2. Admittedly, I had claimed to be superior to everyone else and that they would all stop existing when I died...so I was placing them under considerable existential threat.
