I'm reading through your stuff and noticing the keen anti-technology themes. Have you ever written about automation and/or AI?

No, although I just acquired “AI: A Modern Approach” & have read Wiener’s “Cybernetics”. My antipathy towards tech is partly rooted in a psychological disposition against it due to not being very good at it—despite using it all the time I was once a semi-tech utopian of sorts.

That's a shame. I think you're a good writer and would be interested to hear what kind of things you could come up with. Ah well, be you.

1. I don’t understand the maths & I’m an intuitive thinker, not systematic. I would muc prefer to know these things, but if I did I would be working in a technological field making lots of money. As it stands, I just give my honest opinion in the spirit of Henry Miller.

2. My suspicion is that AI intersects w/ modes of thought & the deepest laws of life in some way; however, technological modernity itself is damaging to humans, being creatures with a deep evolutionary history not suited to screens, ideology, & artificial chemicals.
