I agree with the general sentiment that you're trying to convey though, stoicism indeed has been repacked and sold as a lifestyle, and this comes from the "progressive left" but is a Stoicism without god and that means that its nothing more than CBT and mindfulness meditation.
I think it’s still useful in CBT. You could just do Stoicism instead, but the point is very much “your meaningless life in an open plan call center with no prospects isn’t actually that bad, you just think it is.” This makes it, in the Marxist sense, false conciousness.
Part of the problem with implementing Stoicism in modernity is that science has popped even in the nature God of Stoicism. We understand nature, but we understand its unfathomable and chaotic nature. There’s little comfort there, unlike the comfort of the pagan seasons.
The stoics gazed at cosmic nature itself, and they realized that there IS order, and that's comforting enough for a bunch of nihilists.
