Fascism seems to me to be (generally) a right wing hierarchy and organizational system that tends to lean left in its socio-political goals.

Kuehnelt-Leddihn places Nazis on the Left because of mass mobilization + opposition to individualism. Moldbug places Nazis on the Right because they weren't part of the Left club + had limited connection to Massachusetts.

Yeah, I think this is the problem with using the "left-right" spectrum. The moment you're dealing with a political theory that isnt founded on Enlightenment-style democracy, the classifications break down and everyone just wants to disown what they dont like for their "own side".

1. Rightist, bc they sought to instantiate a biological hierarchy to replace the defunct aristos. But rightists who used the tactics of the left (Hitler quite explicit about this). The hidden link is that fascism was based on Bolshevism, itself a based on Russian populism.

2. Anything that opposes equality is of the right. However, left and right are somewhat situational and relative—everything (arguably since Christianitym certainly since the Enlightenment) has been moving left. E-N-T-R-O-P-Y

That's part of the larger problem, its situational, relative, and subjective. Overall, I see communism as also ultimately seeking to establish a biological hierarchy (from each according to his ability), just one which redistributes whatever is considered to be "wealth" equally.

1. Not a problem. “From each according to his ability” is socialism, the stage before communism. Communism is “according to need”. Socialism and communism are explicitly anti-hierarchical, although everything that functions to any degree is hierarchical.

2. So they’re hypocrites. Socialism & communism are about the existence of property relations, not wealth per se. They’re happy to use meritocracy in the socialist phase. Ultimately, the left is entropic and the right anti-entropy. Order and chaos. Energy loss and gain.
