      1. Notes on child pornography & Hollywood: The production & consumption of this material is more widespread than people think. I knew an IT support guy at a major university who said they were overwhelmed with people on the network accessing this material.

      2. They could only report the worst offenders. This means there were a lot who got away. When homosexuality was illegal, there were secret clubs and support networks for people who were homosexual. That’s natural human behaviour. Paedophiles do the same.

      3. So it would be no surprise if similar clandestine networks exist, esp. in areas of media production where people have the knowhow to make media. Solution? Death penalty for people who abuse children and corporal punishment for the consumers. Radical deterrence required.

      4. This is the only answer in an age where media production and consumption is so widespread. No amount of censorship, “rehabilitation” (no methods really proven to work), or mild prison sentences will change this.

Things will become dicey very quickly if pedophiles acquire the same social-currency status that gays et al have. I am pro-LGBT, but not if it becomes LGBTP

The slippery slope here is that as the MSM periodically sensationalizes trans-kids (i,e, prepubescent children who enjoy gendered cosplaying), they may soon start to give voice to children who consent to sex with adults.

But is it planned? There were confidential networks that changed how we view homosexuality. There are probably political equivalents for paedophiles that are totally clandestine. Intellectuals on the left were supportive in the 1970s, e.g. Allen Ginsberg

I can't speak to how planned or deliberate it is, and I am aware of various organizations worldwide who advocated for its normalization. All I can say is that I hope I speak for the majority of people in saying that sex is meant for adults, at the very least post-pubescent ppl

          1. It is planned. As stated in my original tweet, it’s a lot more common than people think. Paedophiles, like any other group, organise to advance their interests. Look at the RC Church, social services etc & the networks in those groups. These people are often v.intelligent.

          2. What you say is true. Most people are disgusted by it, but they would have said the same about homosexuality up to about 1968. First it was treated as an illness to be pitied, then it was removed from the psych books, and now it’s celebrated.

          3. People have seen what happened with homosexuality and they think, “Why not us?”. Plus, the sexual revolution was a lot more wild than people think if you read about the 1960s/1970s—it’s just we can’t imagine how wild our parents were.

I think we are more likely to see a push for decriminalisation > legalisation > protection. Linguistic reframe from pedophile to Minor Attracted Person (MAP) who hasn't offended (yet) and attraction isn't a thought crime. MAPs will attempt to join the Pride coalition to turbo...

...charge their voice + gain protection + detoxify their social status. UK society already proven remarkably tolerant to pedophiles providing they have other protected characteristics (Rotherham) so children clearly not actually sacred. WWT was fought + lost now WWP begins.

Yes, I think I mentioned the other day that the very fact there is an “uproar” over the issue led by Mike Cernovich is an equivalent to the “moral majority” backlash of the 1980s. The fact there is an uproar could be a dialectical step in normalisation next decade.

The fact that there is an uproar means a taboo has broken down. The taboo is completely unspoken. However, an HIV/AIDS-type event would arrest the situation—as it did in the 1980s.

Gay men were bared from donating since they are at much higher risk / much more likely to carry STDs, including AIDS.

But the "right" to donate blood became a question of "equality" i.e. "How can we be equal if we can't donate blood?", which has forced a change in an otherwise reasonable policy, since blood testing not 100% effective + may miss new strands / mutations.

I don’t understand the science. However, the blood donation issue has been current at least since I was at university 10 years ago. It’s not a question of new strains, I think. A Bayesian analysis shows the risk is still higher from certain groups.

Essentially, the left pushes technology as far as it can go to facilitate the sexual revolution—whether with contraception or STDs. I suspect nature could throw up something like HIV/AIDS again. Maybe it already has and we don’t know
