2. Also, it’s not “the Boomer’s” fault. Their parents passed the social legislation to make all this possible. Acting like a yuppie and wearing a suit is as much “Boomer” as being a hippie—same generation. The roots are much deeper than the Boomers.
1. I saw more or less the same behaviour as a teenager about 15 yrs ago. Sixties-style rebellion was entrenched, & people knew it was a product. I think things like punk and neo-romanticism were healthy youthful rebellion—now commoditised. Young fogeys are refusing to mature.
