Canadians treated Pierre Trudeau like Mao Tse Tung. When I visited Canada in 2001, I bought a “Little Red Book” of Trudeau’s sayings. There was a bookshelf devoted to him. He oversaw a cultural revolution. But, being Canadian, it was boring, polite, and nobody died.
