2. His points were very well researched and he had plenty of studies and so on to support what he was saying. But every word was suffused with passive aggressive anger. This was because he was from a divorced family & (deep down) knew I’d written some truths.

3. He was desperate to “prove me wrong” so he could go maintain his worldview that nothing bad had happened to him. If he thought I was just wrong, he would have laughed at my article and moved on or just said “bullshit” to himself.

4. But it wasn’t about that. It was about making me admit what I said wasn’t true by arguing me into with studies and lawyerly tricks. This is the problem. You argument, spelling, and research can be top notch. But if you haven’t come to terms with your feelings about a subject..
