2. I think there’s an idea floating about that in the Victorian and Medieval period people didn’t have sex or were very restrained. This ignores the scores of whores in London and what do you think all those Medieval peasants were up to?

3. They didn’t have TV, books, or anything. The only pleasures of a Medieval peasant were animal fat, beer, and fucking. “Traditionalists” or “Tradcats” might imagine saintly Medieval peasants were all at their rosaries. I think they were more likely to have been at each other.

4. Sex is one of the few pleasures a poor man has. And I imagine those long Medieval nights with nothing to do led to lots of sex, often extramarital. In fact, what’s remarkable about the contemporary West is that we’re sexless.

5. We all work too long and are too absorbed in pornography or the complex nature of contemporary dating rites to actually be over involved in a “fuck party”. Plus we’re terrified of all sorts of illnesses that certainly didn’t exist or weren’t understood in the past.

6. We are surrounded by sexualised images, but we’re more andogrynised and desexualised than ever. We also have more things to distract us from sex. We’re too rich for it. In this sense, our decadence lies in not having enough sex rather than too much.

7. The sexual market place is bad, and I certainly complain about it. But I only complain, as with most moralised comaplining, when I haven’t had sex in a while. Some people take this moralisation too far and into the realm of self-disgust or disgust with the flesh.

8. They then imagine that people were “pure” in the past, possibly due to religion. And even that’s silly, the jokes about nuns and monks fucking each other existed for a reason— though obviously many were sincere. The sexual market place is wrong, but not bc sex is “dirty”...

9...though it’s fun to pretend it is sometimes. It’s wrong bc it produces some perverse results from a societal perspective. But it’s not the fact people are having sex that is *the* problem, and only an immature or a sexually unfulfilled mind would think so.

10. The disgust at sexually decadence as “too much sex” ends in a nihilistic wish to destroy everything to end the “impurity”. That’s just unhealthy. Yes, there’s a lot wrong with how sex happens in the West. But you have to separate out your own frustrations to think about it...

11. ...And don’t think that people in your idealised past didn’t do everything that happens now, or that orgies or lesbianism or what ever you’ve decided is “perverse” can’t coincide with moments of high civilisation.

I've been preaching this for a while now; the "trad" should embrace the traditional western fuck party!https://twitter.com/nastyinmuhtaxi/status/996173599542333440 …
