1/ Forgiveness: It’s very popular to forgive people at once these days. Even after a gruesome murder, there’s a type of family who says, “Of course, we forgive him.” I think this is phoney or nonsens. Murder one of my relatives and there’ll be no forgiveness. There’ll be anger.

5/ People moralise & end up in trouble when they try to do the “right” thing. I agree that forgiveness is admirable, but phoney or forced forgiveness is worse. You can’t force forgiveness, love, or even hate. You have to let things click.
