Yeah, I mean in the longer-term purview. Certainly there is short-term gratification… but then the unintended consequence of lower fecundity (males & females not wanting to be on the hook for offspring from a whimsical encounter).
Depends what you mean by “reward”. If you mean sexual encounters, yes. If you mean a wider set of incentives to do with the economy then no.
