“Technomads” not true nomads. Nomads walk or ride around, but they do so in a pattern. In this way, ownership and locality can be connected to movement and ranging—often over vast distances. Technomads move without purpose or fixed route. Atomised and directionless.

You can see how movements creates ownership. Think about the “hippy trail”. The hippies ended up owning that territory by traversing it. A lot of contemporary travel and tourism is directionless. Movement can be a form of owenership, change a means to preserve.
