1/ We reached peak Corbyn sometime ago, and he’s in decline now. How so? His support was based mainly among the youth. Young people are very fickle and change their minds quickly. Since his election as leader, there’s been a full turnover in the universities.

2/ Every three years you get a cycle of students completing their passage, and—although all students are the same—each generation has its quirks. “Generation Corbyn” has filtered through now. They’re working, changing their minds and politics.

5/ Altogether, the Corbyn energy is gone. But he will not stop going. I actually admire the man, though I disagree with him. He actually believes what he says, unlike the usual miserable bastards we get. A true believer never stops.
