The problem with the position of neoconservatives like the late C. Hitchens and Douglas Murray is that they want to maintain a socially liberal, sterile, and childless hedonism AND restrict entry to migrants who might challenge social liberalism. You can’t have both.

Neoconservatives who accept mass migration are consistent insofar as they acknowledge that mass migration is required to keep this economy and lifestyle on the road. They just don’t acknowledge that mass migration will eventually undermine the pillars that make this economy.

Basically, socially liberal hedonism is the path of death. If you follow it, you will die out and be replaced. You either drop social liberalism and mass migration, or you maintain it for as long as possible & accept mass migration until migration changes social values.
