An anachronism in regard to Streicher is that he is still described as a “pornographer” or “semi-pornographer”. When he was hanged, this was seen as a legitimate criticism, i.e. not only was he a vile anti-Semite & friend ot tyranny, but he was also a pornographer.
Of course, in the contemporary West being described as a “pornographer” is no longer a point against you really. In some circles, it’s a compliment. This shows how far our postwar morality has shifted, especially in regard to what we see as wrong about Nazism.
