I’ve known extremely rich people, and I’ve known extremely poor people. They’re no better or worse and about as f!cked up as each other. The poor tend to use violence more. That goes with lower intelligence. As someone observed, the middle class know better than to leave bruises.
The rich are merely insulated from their mistakes. You can take hits and not end up tied up with payday loans etc. That’s the main difference. The middle class are sadistic, of course. This goes with the mental manipulation, which is extensive and often invisible.

This is why, of course, the middle class are all in therapy...trying to figure out why they are balls of hate or anxiety or whatever. The working class solution is violence, and that certainly clears the air. But it lands them in prison or hoovered up by social services.

The role of therapy is essentially to allow people to be honest. They go to work at the bank and spend all day lying to people. They come home to their wife and tell lies. They go ot the therapist to tell the truth. They’ll never be “better”. Draining the wound...that’s all.
