“Spirit animals” were mocked by foolish people on the right after the Google-Damore affair. But “spirit animals” are real. The most manipulative women, for example, usually have kinship with cats. This is because the cat plays and teases its prey. It seduces.
The cat, like these women, is self-interested and aloof. “Do I play with the cat, or does the cat play with me?” asked Montaigne. “Do I play with the woman, or does the woman play with me?”

Similarly, I met a man who kept snakes whose jaw articulated like a snake. People who keep reptiles are cold, calculating, and often sadistic. How was it that this man’s jaw came to resemble a snake’s? Was he like this from birth & so sought out what he was like in a pet?

Or did the very keeping of a snake somehow make him like this? Or is there more to us than materialism, a spiritual energy that shapes us and can be cultivated? I do not know, but I know that the animals a person likes tells you much about what they are.

It seems very deep. My snake man even spoke and thought in a snake-like way. I recently spoke to a girl on Tinder who depicted herself with her pet lizard, a lion emblem, and the teeth of a shark. She even smiled like a shark. “You’re a sadist,” I said.

“I don’t know if I like you examining my psychology,” she said (which means she liked it and I was right). She worked in a masculine profession— latent lesbian tendencies— v masculine...cold, logical. Her animals were appropriate.

Of course, there is an element of reversal. What is cared about overtly is often reversed on the inside, so that the cold and rational exterior conceals a great empathy and compassion. I do not mean the above as a moral statement, but rather a discussion of how humans are.

You should always pay attention to the animals people are naturally drawn towards...probably at Google there was much bullsh!t with people not drawing animals really from “within” but based on what their colleagues were doing—still important though.

This is Shamanic energy at work in Google, fundamentally. But do they know what they are doing with it?

As for me, I have always adored the Peregrine Falcon. This is because I am individualistic, alone, observant, and far-sighted. I see what others do not.

My home town has reintroduced birds of prey, a type of hawk. They have bred exceedingly well and now wheel about all over the place—over the motorway and the fields, and when I see them I know that my day will be lucky. And it usually is.
