A contradiction apparent in “red pill” views on women is that the alpha/beta dichotomy supposedly arises from evolution, yet it is also supposedly a teachable mindset. How can this be so? Its teachability suggests that the human mind is flexibile enough to adopt psychologies.

In other words, the “red pill” is pulling a common trick of rightist thought. It is saying that a behaviour is more natural and innate than it is. Presumably, if alpha males are successful breeders all men are descended from alphas.

The reality is that the “beta” mindset is the optimised mindset to maintain an advanced civilisation. The “alpha” mindset is not desireable. Indeed, say, pop stars are not really an asset to civilisation.

Of course, this is why “red pill” men tend to the hard right. They want to go back to the type of barbaric and pre-civilisational male adored by the hard right.

The “red pill” is an American idea, of course, which means it contains a measure of hucksterism. A further problem is the Christian legacy, which continues despite most societies being posChristian through our art and storytelling.

The “red pill” wants to apply, in its own terms, a form of social Darwinism consistently throughout society (as does neoreaction). But our consciousness is still wired, in part, to Christianity. Without ever being baptised a part of my mind say, “Monogamy, loyalty, honour...”

The Christian consciousness cannot simply be erased, as the “red pill” on women types and neoreaction wish—probably not without destroying the art and storytelling of 2k years. This means no one can ever go fully “red pill”, if they were raised in the West.

This is because Christianity will still assert itself. No movement, however, reactionary would be bale to discard 2k of artistic accomplishment rooted in Christianity. The cultivation of kindness as a virtue is also Christian.

Conclusion: the “red pill” on women is less scientific than it pretends, doesn’t take adequate account of consciousness, and cannot be consistently applied within Western civilisation. The alpha mindset is not really constructive in many ways, depending on what you want from civ.

Truth is multilayered, the “red pill” does capture an element of evolutionary truth. But it is not the full picture its proponents imagine and it is advanced, usually from the hard rightm for propaganda reasons to recruit boys by teaching them how to f!ck girls.
