What would fucking own would be a vieux carré made this way. Smoked rum, cognac, Antica Formula, nocino, Abbott's and Peychaud's bitters. Maybe even lose the Peychaud's. The nocino won't have much impact in that mix, so maybe something else. And I need some walnut bitters.
On this cool and autumnal, er, July lunchtime, #CocktailSaturday sees a warming Manhattany formula of 2℥ smoked rum, 1℥ nocinio, and 2♏︎ Abbot's bitters. This really works, although the nocinio is a bit lost. Might try this again in the winter.
