The minute Bernie decides he’s not going to run, we can have a normal weeding out process. He changes the dynamic because he’s not a Democrat. My opinion.

It’s going to be ugly. We’ve already gotten a sneak peek at the kind of campaign he will run

How is this poisoning the process? Are people not allowed to demand a coronation and uncompetitive primary because their proposed candidate is perfect in each and every way? And having someone point out their potential flaws is poison?

Bernie's entire career is predicated on poisoning the process. He's going to run and it's going to be awful. Democrats need to be prepared this time because the media has shown time and time again that they will provide Sanders an open platform with zero vetting.
-
The Democrat candidates' strategy should be to go after Bernie from day 1. They cannot ignore him. They shouldn't tolerate him. That's the mistake Republicans did with Trump. They didn't attack him from the start and when they did, it was already too late.

If Bernie doesn't run, he will still try to poison the process and whine from the sidelines. And "Bernie would've won" crowd will scream louder and throw more chairs at any candidate their guy doesn't endorse. I say, let Bernie run and let him get crushed & humiliated.

let him run in HIS own party.

DNC needs to step up and say F*** NO, but until Tom Perez vacates his post, we may be stuck with the inevitability. Tired of party (and the country) being ruled by a minority of voices and by fear of not getting "progressive" votes.

Minority?

In CA, Bernie AD delegates won the majority. The Progressive caucuses are the largest caucuses in Congress & many states like CA. Insularity is not your friend.
