I wonder if the Chromium Edge on Windows 10X is still win32. In that case, it would eat up battery and performace.

All points to Win10X being pretty faithful to the Courier experience and beyond.
My only niggle is when documents span across the central divide; there’s no getting away from it, it’s hideous.
But personally I would just turn the device to landscape mode for a wider view.
