Cool and gray in Malibu...

Amazing: the difference between June and July. I hear it's still summer outside. Sometimes I hear surf, but maybe it's my headphones dying.

In the saddle at the Trancas Starbucks. 10 hours to get everything done.

Back to biking/hiking, but being off since the flu has weakened me. Heroes meetings all day. Next season is wild, so much online stuff.

Computer game and writing all weekend. Big workday tomorrow to get everything done.

All-nighter last night. Got another couple big deadlines on Monday.

Improv class today. Really getting into it lately. Working on the Heroes lot today, writing 4-5 hours at a time. Brain is hot.

A giant flock of escaped parrots was living in our tree. (I'm not kidding.) Noisy little critters. Neon-green feathers everywhere.

Got a 16 hour day planned tomorrow, starting with 5 hours writing. That makes me happy. The 5 part, I mean. The rest will kill me.

Big meeting at NBC. Summer project launches very soon. Rode my e-bike for the first time since the flu, wiped me out.

They say 500,000 people came to Malibu this weekend. Not bad for a town with 13,000 people, 3.5 Starbucks, and a couple beaches.

Spent all week with a fever, heavily caffeinated, writing my tail off for 6-8 hours a sitting. Writing is easy. Turning it in is hard.
