You really don’t see that councilmembers could endorse an opponent and work for them as they do regularly in each campaign cycle with their favorite candidates? How is it hard to see what council members could do about it?

@tweetelissa@RobertWhite_DC and@AnitaBondsDC could help ensure this travesty isn’t allowed to happen since they have supporter & donor lists in W 2 to make sure progressive challenge to Evans@JMGinDC wins and vote split doesn’t yield Evans.

We can open the primary to independents and all parties and have ranked choice voting to get to a top 2 then have a run off in Nov if someone does not get to a majority. That would be a positive change. We can enact legislation to this effect for '22.
