someone has to explain this to me. Yes, I know it's all cynical and they don't actually care, but who is dumb enough to fall for this (rhetorical, I know Dems are)? We have Fedex and UPS. The last time I was in a USPS branch it felt like travelling back to the 60s.

I use USPS all the time. It goes everywhere. It has to by law. FedEx and UPS can cherrypick where they will deliver. Rural areas would be dismissed as unprofitable (which they are). I know some people would like to mandate email only but what happens when the power is out?
