“I am here to warn you that free trade is being choked,” says @BorisJohnson, who has taken his country out of the world’s biggest free trade zone, and put up non tariff barriers for all businesses
I honestly don’t get how we are meant to cope with this utterly luminous filth.

And now some facile drivel from
@BorisJohnson regarding lamb, and Beijing being "closer to Wales than New Zealand!" It's also transported by refrigerated ship. But this is what happens if you have a columnist for prime minister.pic.twitter.com/dAx6uo3TbY

I’m surprised to hear that. I was under the impression that the U.K. was fairly similar to Sweden in regards to parental leave. I have no idea why I was though.

According to this UNICEF report, the UK gives the equivalent of 12 weeks maternity at full pay equivalent, Sweden 35 and Germany 43. Obviously employers can do extra on top of statutory in someone’s contract. https://www.unicef-irc.org/family-friendly pic.twitter.com/LPc0CXrJdE

You'd be amazed at how many people live on £7696 a year. It's about the average state pension, isn't it?
-
In the U.K., yes. Higher everywhere else in Europe.
