Because he didn't believe in his politics, which is his right. I don't believe in Obama's politics but I cannot deny that he's a great man and I would absolutely mourn him.

Exactly this! You can disagree with someone while still respecting them. This is what is missing in politics on both sides of the aisle. There is no respect for opposing views and finding common ground for the advancement of America.
