Based on your graph, how did
@realDonaldTrump win again? -
Electoral college votes is how he won
-
Its archaic & needs to go.
-
False. We are NOT a democracy we are a republic. The electoral college allows the whole country to process a vote not a few heavily populated states/cities. In 2000 it was widely expected Al Gore would lose the popular vote but win the college. It was fine then but it didnt occur
-
In my red state, 40% of our population voted against
#TraitorTrump yet he got all of our EC votes. Explain to us how that practice is considered "fair" & how my vote counted. -
Upside down flag and your mad about voting lol
-
Believe what you wish. These are facts. Learn the history why our founders did not create a democracy. I am not saying anything about the current situation. However to have an intelligent conversation it helps to understand truth and perspective.

False. I refused to vote because I didn’t like either of the candidates and if that’s the best we could put up then that is incredibly sad. It is my right not to vote. I won’t vote for the lesser of two evils, I won’t compromise like that. Neither of them were good enough

Of course you have a right. That's silly. You have a right to say that you don't approve of either side.
-
Someone who doesn’t vote might be a principled person who doesn’t approve of either side... or just a lazy so-and-so who couldn’t get their butt out of bed. NOT VOTING doesn’t mean you’ve ticked
a ‘do not approve’ box. In fact, it says nothings about you at all. -
Tina, let me tell you why the young people don’t vote, it’s not out of laziness, it’s because adults make us feel like our voices don’t matter. No maybe I didn’t affect anyone else, but I could live with not voting more then I could with supporting either candidate
-
And let’s talk about the not wanting to choose ‘the lesser of two evils’ thing... one day, you may realise that not everything in life is black and white. Sounds tough, but going into the third decade of my life, it dawned on me there’s often just endless shades of gray...
-
Great I get that, however I did not want to do that. Which is my right, which is the point I’m making, that not voting is also an option.

If Trump won 3084 counties, or well over 90%, then how did he only get 304 electoral votes, or 56.5%.
#fakefacts -
I stand corrected. That is false. My bad. He still dominated. The Associated Press finds that Clinton won 487 counties nationwide, compared with 2,626 for President-elect Donald Trump.
-
And that’s an irrelevant fact in the US. Again it’s one vote per person. The electoral collage was partly put in place because we didn’t ha e the ability to count each persons vote. Now we do so it’s obsolete.
-
It was also supposed to be a defence against demagogues. I'd say in that respect, it's failed spectacularly :/
