Yes on the “blockchain” nonsense but the author totally misses the point on Bitcoin. A global, censorship-resistant, permissionless, open source, digitally-scarce financial network beyond the control of corporations and governments is hardly a “solution in search of a problem”

Early computers filled rooms and were expensive and relatively worthless. You are completely missing the massive potential of blockchain technology and what sets it apart from VISA or any other traditional centralized company.

I think crypto is really interesting in lots of ways! The energy efficiency stuff just jumps out at me as a problem that has to get solved.
