Fascism only collapsed due to external demolition, and is robust. The Soviet Union decisively beat the largest military invasion in history and destroyed the vast majority of those regimes and was brittle. That makes sense.
It’s centrist in the way traditional Toryism was ‘centrist’, but attitudes to the market / state are notoriously hard to place on L/R scales. If we’re talking equality left / inequality right, fascism was def right wing, just in a hierarchical way rather than meritocratic
