Two key issues for psychology as an academic discipline have been identified in a survey of university departments across the UK: a lack of senior female academics and a lack of male undergraduates http://ow.ly/CtqB30l676s pic.twitter.com/0SBPxox66L

My point is (I've seen lots of these campaigns) is they focus on examples of women in Psychology etc or profiles of them and this creates an impression the discipline is female dominated, which puts of male ugrads the same way the very male reputation of physics puts off women
And at the senior level, no-one in their right mind is responding to PR campaigns. They are concerned about their research, or personal issues etc. They will totally ignore any efforts and only ugrads will be affected
Fair enough. I don't like the idea of any discipline too dominated by one sex or the other.
