I didn’t know how enjoyable it would be to read people suggesting names
Quote Tweet
I have named a character Simon but every time I type "Simon says" a little bit of me dies. I'm v bad at names though so tell me: how would you rechristen an outdoorsy 90's dad called Simon? Bearing in mind I already have a Jim and a Thomas.

Yiyun Li getting at something I haven’t had the words to express to myself until now. Also I cannot recommend this series enough for anyone interested in writing. This is not an ad. I didn’t get this book as a proof. I just think it is excellent.

First up in Reverse Engineering II: Path Lights-Tom Drury. An intriguing exploration of confusion and communication breakdown. Features flying bottles, stranded dogs and an artist who dreams about God. Enlightening interview with the author too
