I mean, I read that article and I see that the charging decisions weren’t made by Boudin. At which point I start to ask what precisely how much of a stretch you’re prepared to undertake to make something an attack on Boudin.

The article again says on occasion new DAs fire some of the existing prosecutors, presumably because they have some history or approaches they don’t agree with. I could not find sufficient information in the article as to the specifics of this case.

He fired 6 or 7 two days into the job. And now this recent one. Two days does not seem like a comprehensive evaluation for somebody with zero prosecutorial experience.

Their records are matters of public record. If he thinks they reflect a bias or a massive policy problem he can fire them. It’s happened before.
