quickest is to use wise, easy transfers to US accounts for not much money, or cheaper than a bank, you get your own US a/c deets as well so they can pay you, there are other options too, they are a bank

one thing i really find funny is that banks have a "bill pay service" where they figure out for you how to transfer money to your power company, the sewer district etc...

the simplest thing is often to write a paper check, e.g. to pay a contacter if they don't take credit card
Paper check lol - I think these were banned in Finland in the 90s or so

yes the whole thing is nuts
it's still a manual process i think. i've had payments from belgium bounce back after a week or so, with some money subtracted for fees!
