It's an AUTISTIC thing to think electronics make a noise when they are on? Literally what? Do you not hear the fucking whine a TV makes when it's on?
Maybe it is and we’re all mildly autistic. Or maybe autism correlates with something else that make us sensitive to electronic noise.
But they definitely make noise.
I collect old computers (including CRT monitors in some cases) and I am astounded at the noise they make. When I was a kid, I didn't remember the noise, but it's truly loud. I guess I filtered it out as a young person.
realizing i'm wired to be prone to sensory / information overload drastically changed things for the better -- i now know i have to first remove or otherwise deal with the stimulus
