Maybe it is and we’re all mildly autistic. Or maybe autism correlates with something else that make us sensitive to electronic noise.
But they definitely make noise.

I collect old computers (including CRT monitors in some cases) and I am astounded at the noise they make. When I was a kid, I didn't remember the noise, but it's truly loud. I guess I filtered it out as a young person.

I've heard this before, so maybe that's related. I seem to have a hard time filtering out all kinds of perception, both visual and auditory.

I've considered it. I’m a little adverse to adopting a label. I don’t feel like it would change my life one way or the other.

realizing i'm wired to be prone to sensory / information overload drastically changed things for the better -- i now know i have to first remove or otherwise deal with the stimulus
But I know that about myself, with or without a label for it.
