prob between 1k-10k. not sure what count as embedded. these days it's mostly inline, e.g. something that's impossible to express in C (last one was a PDM modulator, passing carry flag between ops). before that it was DSP assembly (TI C40, Intel MMX), and PIC18. started with x86

i do check asm output a lot just to make sure compiler is being reasonable

i forgot TI PRU, and ASM for my own stack processor. those were more recent. but really the border between writing assembly and writing a custom generator/emulator is blurry
