Here's the backside of the Pellegrino, wire wrapped the main CPU board and the sound card, almost time for dinner, then trying to make some bleep bloops :D
Pretty happy how this turned out.
nRF52 as the main CPU module (and block storage device), A RAM card with an 8MiB PSRAM and 512KiB FRAM chip, a sound card (vs1053b) + uSD card slot, and an ESP32 based WiFi card.
All connected over a 2x6 IDC bus cable.
Lots of @adafruit swag.
Didn’t get to actually wire wrap the modules, but did plan them out.
I’d hoped 5 pins for CS/IRQ/DC pins would be enough, but the audio codec takes four by itself, the two ram chips take one, and the wifi card takes two more.
Might have to rethink 2x6 IDC as a backbone.
