Here's the backside of the Pellegrino, wire wrapped the main CPU board and the sound card, almost time for dinner, then trying to make some bleep bloops :D
The back side of four prototyping board. Two of the boards have been wired using wire-wrapping techniques, with wires held to the board with a small string bow.

Pretty happy how this turned out. nRF52 as the main CPU module (and block storage device), A RAM card with an 8MiB PSRAM and 512KiB FRAM chip, a sound card (vs1053b) + uSD card slot, and an ESP32 based WiFi card. All connected over a 2x6 IDC bus cable. Lots of @adafruit swag.

A collection of circuit boards as described in the tweet body, mounted in a LEGO case. The RAM board has two small SOIC-8 chips on breakout boards, and the other three boards are in the Adafruit Feather format. All are connected by a horizontal 12 pin cable.

And this is essentially the wiring diagram:

Didn’t get to actually wire wrap the modules, but did plan them out. I’d hoped 5 pins for CS/IRQ/DC pins would be enough, but the audio codec takes four by itself, the two ram chips take one, and the wifi card takes two more. Might have to rethink 2x6 IDC as a backbone.
