Is it legal to jump past an initialization if you don't use the variable below the jump point?

Damn that explains things... So I think this error is not triggered if you use this in conjuction with computed goto. I ran into it a year ago after some creative macro use.

well i'm glad i saw your tweet. saved me a day of debugging for sure. i was just about to start testing a code generator that used this. replaced with ordinary blocks. thanks!
